Earlier this week, Pilbara Minerals awarded ASX-listed NRW Holdings with a contract worth A$62 million for the P680 expansion of the Pilgangoora mine.

Contract work includes upgrading the existing Pilgan lithium processing plant through the construction of a new primary reject facility and preliminary work involving a new ore crushing and grading facility.

Under the contract, NRW subsidiary Primero will be responsible for the detailed excavation and concrete work associated with the main removal, crushing and grading facilities, as well as the structural, mechanical, and system installations. Primero will also assist with closures, brown mine integration, and operational support to connect the main removal facility to the existing Pilgan plant.
